In Hawaiian tradition, the Honu — the sacred sea turtle — has navigated the Pacific for millions of years, guided by the stars, the currents, and an ancient wisdom that no map could ever capture. The Honu is a symbol of good luck, longevity, and the sacred connection between people and the sea. It knows the way home.

Tapa Hoku Honu honors that navigation. Two golden Honu swim through a deep midnight navy panel alive with Kapa star motifs — the same geometric patterns that once decorated the sacred barkcloth of Hawai'i — while white plumeria blossoms drift through the darkness like flowers released into open water. Above and around them, eight-pointed Kapa stars scatter across the panel like a celestial map, ancient and eternal.

Hoku means star in Hawaiian. And stars, like the Honu, have always known the way. This design is your reminder that you do too.
