Customized Products

At The Local Banyan, each personalized item is custom-made just for you based on the exact details you provide. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on customized products due to incorrect spelling, wording, or other customer-entered details.

Please review all personalization information carefully before placing your order. Once your order is submitted, it goes straight into production and cannot be changed or canceled.

If we’ve made an error in customization or your item arrives damaged, please email us at support@thelocalbanyan.com within 5 business days of receiving your order, and we’ll make 

To request a return, please email us at support@thelocalbanyan.com with your order number and reason for return. Returns must be approved and arranged in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Returns Are Not Accepted If:

  • The product was customized and the error was due to incorrect personalization entered by the customer

  • The shipping address provided was incorrect, inaccessible, or the package was refused or unclaimed

  • The return request was made more than 30 days after delivery. 

  • The item has been used, is not in its original condition, or is missing parts not due to our error

  • The product was purchased on sale, using a discount code, or as part of a promotion (final sale)

  • The size/model was chosen incorrectly by the customer despite provided size guides

  • There are minor color or print variations due to printing processes or screen differences

  • The item was delayed due to shipping issues or production delays beyond our control

  • The order is still in transit or delivery is pending — we must confirm delivery before processing returns


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an email to confirm its arrival and let you know if your refund is approved.

If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that return shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund if we provide a return label.

We do not issue refunds for orders in transit. If your package appears lost, contact us and we’ll work with you on a resolution.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. To request an exchange for the same item, please email a photo of the item to support@thelocalbanyan.com.  If the issue is considered normal wear or within design tolerance, the request may be denied.


Shipping Returns

You are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance for items valued over $75.

All returns must include a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send returns to the manufacturer.


Late or Missing Refunds

Haven’t received your refund yet?

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take time before the refund is officially posted.

  3. Then contact your bank — some banks have additional processing delays.
